Siemens Symphony, Avanto, Espree

Course Description

Students who complete the Siemens Symphony, Avanto, Espree MRI First Look course will be able to operate and maintain systems to OEM specifications at a first look level. They will have a detailed understanding of MRI physics that is OEM agnostic. They will develop proficiency in identifying system components, performing preventive maintenance, calibrations, and some troubleshooting skills necessary for diagnosing and repairing system faults. This training program aims to equip engineers with the skills to maximize customer uptime, by giving the engineer maximum hands-on system time with practical system experience.

Training duration - 10 Days

Course Design

This two-week course is designed to take field service engineer or Biomed Technologist as a first step in the MRI Imaging arena. Training has been designed to empower the engineer with specific skills to respond to Siemens MRI service calls with confidence and complete PM’s. This kind of training increases system uptime while reducing labor costs. Engineers maintain system uptime by, performing proper preventive maintenance. FRU replacement procedures, software diagnosis, and most service calls. Training is approximately 45% classroom-based and 55% hands-on equipment.

Pre-Requisites

Students are recommended to have a background in electronics and have some type of MRI Safety training. Students will be working around active MRI Magnets. Students who do not have MRI Safety Training will need to complete an online course before attending.
