It\u2019s a sweet-spot\u00a0for many hospital departments, mobile companies, and private practices. Just 2-3\u00a0years ago, the choices were few in this price range. Now the tough part is making the choice.<\/p>\n<p>In today\u2019s video, I have a demo describing\u00a0the differences between our most popular and best-selling mid-range ultrasound machines: The\u00a0GE Logiq e,\u00a0SonoScape S8EXP, and Fuji\u00a0SonoSite M-Turbo portable ultrasounds.<\/p>\n<div class=\"video-modal-block\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/fJ-qK5y72bw?autoplay=true\" class=\"openmodal\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/img.youtube.com\/vi\/fJ-qK5y72bw\/sddefault.jpg\"><\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><div id=\"panel-1306-0-0-3\" class=\"so-panel widget widget_sow-editor\" data-index=\"3\" ><div\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\tclass=\"so-widget-sow-editor so-widget-sow-editor-base\"\n\t\t\t\n\t\t>\n<div class=\"siteorigin-widget-tinymce textwidget\">\n\t<h2>Ultrasound Feature Comparison<\/h2>\n<p>As stated in the demo video, the general features and technologies among these systems are very similar. \u00a0The differences are seen\u00a0when you get\u00a0into more advanced application options, such as stress echo and elastography.<\/p>\n<p>When you don\u2019t have special needs, you are given a choice between these three. And because they all have solid image quality, the more important focus for your choice should be on the size and form of these ultrasounds.<\/p>\n<p>The SonoSite\u2019s size and weight make it ideal for busy\/highly mobile environments, as well as\u00a0situations in which there are multiple users of the machines. The M-Turbo is by far the easiest to use, and it\u2019s designed for quick and easy use. It\u2019s compact and simple.<\/p>\n<p>But when weight and size are not the key factors\u2026\u00a0it\u2019s time to consider the Logiq e or\u00a0SonoScape S8 Expert. The larger size provides advantages that can make the user experience more pleasant. The most obvious of the features include\u00a0the larger keyboard, user interface, and 15\u2033 LCD screen.<\/p>\n<p>But deeper down, the S8EXP and Logiq e are more powerful, have larger hard drives, longer cineloop storage, and many many more options for getting better images, customizing the system, and more versatility for exam options.<\/p>\n<p>So, typically if you don\u2019t need extreme portability and durability, it\u2019s usually best to start with the larger of these systems: the S8 Expert and Logiq e.<\/p>\n<h3>M-Turbo: Ease-of-Use<\/h3>\n<p>The SonoSite systems are notoriously easy to use which is why this factor that might steer you towards the M-Turbo. You can simply turn it on, and start scanning. There\u2019s nothing complex about it to confuse users. \u00a0While other systems can be relatively easy, the M-Turbo is much less intimidating.<\/p>\n<p>The M-Turbo was designed for the \u201cBedside\u201d aka \u201cPoint of Care\u201d ultrasound market, where physicians will often perform the scanning. It\u2019s not designed for techs who will perform full diagnostic studies all day, every day.
