Warranty Coverage Options & Terms
Years 1-5: Full Coverage
All new ultrasounds purchased from Probo include a 5-year warranty as standard – parts, labor, and service calls are covered. With Probo re:new refurbished systems, extended coverage can be added at purchase of your ultrasound. No preventive maintenance (PM) is required in years 1-4 (though strongly encouraged). A PM is required in year 5 to maintain warranty eligibility.
Years 6-10: Conditional Extended Coverage
Coverage applies to the ultrasound system only (probes and accessories excluded). One annual onsite PM visit must be scheduled and completed each year. The cost of the warranty for that year is $1,000 and billed after the PM is successfully completed, providing financial flexibility. Customers are responsible for scheduling the required PM each year. If a PM is missed, warranty coverage is void for that year and cannot be reinstated retroactively.
